Altered Watering Can

Tonight was another gathering at Go Scrapping this time to reveal our dollar store watering can creations.

I'm pretty pleased with this creation, I used up some chipboard I had, painted then layered flowers and buttons on. I then added some glitter with Stickles. I attached them to bamboo skewers with wire and glue then arranged them in some oasis I attached to the inside of the can. I arranged some basket filler to hide the oasis foam once all the flowers were placed. I added a bit of ribbon to the handle and some paper and flower embellishment to the front of the can along with the sentiment of 'wishing you well'.

All of us had the idea of adding flowers to our watering cans although Karen kicked hers up a notch and created a wind chime. I'm sure she'll have pics of all the creations on her blog soon.

She taught us a great resist technique and I'll show the end product in another post very soon.

And next month's challenge is to create something with eyeglasses! Yes you heard me, eyeglasses! I really need to think about that one!
