The Shabby Tea Room

Hello everyone!

I saw this inspiration photo over at The Shabby Tea Room, and although I haven't participated in their challenges recently, I just had to play along.

Isn't it pretty!!

And although I don't make them often I do have a weakness for shabby chic cards.

So here's my take on the inspiration:

I've pulled in the colours, the flowers, the lacey look to the stand through the use of the doily and of course the teapot!

Hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies used:  Papertrey Ink - cardstock, dies; Spellbinders - die; Kaisercraft - patterned paper, pearls; Stampin' Up - stamp; Momento - Ink

Crazy Card Party - Vintage

Hello!

Time for another CCP challenge and this week Sharon wants to see those vintage inspired cards.

I created this card for Mother's Day with the vintage challenge in mind:

I think the paper along with the burlap and ribbon all combine to give this card a vintage vibe.

Thanks for stopping by!

Crazy Card Party - Going to the Birds

This week over at Crazy Card Party, Kathryn wants to see cards featuring birds.

And luckily I took a photo of this one before I gave it away:

I borrowed my Mom's Stampin' Up punch for this card and am liking the colour combination of blue and green.

Thanks for stopping by!
