Hall Paint Colour

I need your help!

I'm thinking of painting my hall and am torn between these two colours:

Wythe blue is on the left and palladian blue is on the right. They are painted on the current sage green. They are really a blue green colour, here's a couple of chips I found online:

Wythe Blue

Palladian Blue

I'm concerned the Wythe might be too dark for the hall.

Which one do you prefer?

They are both beautiful colors! Wythe Blue is a slightly warmer color, but I like the tone of Palladian Blue. It looks like a tough choice - let us know which one you pick!

What a tough call, Rosanne!! We are going through the same decision with our family room. Can you paint a wider strip and view it at differnt times of day? I don't think darker means smaller....Good luck!

Love both blues but knowing your hall thinking the Wythe might be dark, tho it would be striking. I have a painter coming at the first of March and picked Soft Fern after testing 3 different colours and it is a grey green but in the same tone as Wythe.Thinking my front hall will be dark too.

HI. I like the lighter palladian blue. I am not the best at choosing colours. I have a bathroom I panted white because I just couldn't make a decision but I am sure which ever one you pick will be great.

I like Wythe Blue. It is a warmer color. If it seems to dark use lighter furnishings, large mirror.

Too funny! I googled images of Whythe Blue to view its use in different decor and recognized your side-by-side comparison picture from my own living room wall! The Palladian Blue is intriguing, right? It almost glows in the dark. It was a little too light and bright, though. Whythe was a little too dark for my space. Sound familiar? A major difference between the two comes from the yellows used - Palladian has bright yellow and Whythe an earthier yellow oxide. They're not simply shades of the same color. Anyway, my paint store mixed the two into one for me! The outcome was just right - the sophistication of Whyte with the flirtiness of Palladian adding greater interest. This post is for the benefit of future agonizers...!
