A New Tradition

Well, I tried a new way of uploading pictures to my blog this morning and it didn't work, they were cut off. So I'm redoing it and posting the pictures in the way I've always done.

When my Mom moved to a new home this summer she decided to split up her Dickens Village collection between herself, my sister and me.

I recently had fun arranging it on the top of the desk in our kitchen.

There are just enough pieces to fill the desk top without it looking overly crowded.

I did add 3 glittered and snowladen bottlebrush trees though.

I haven't added any snow, I'm not sure about that, I kind of like it displayed the way it is, what do you think?

I think my favourite pieces are Tiny Tim's house, the flowermonger and the Partridge in the Pear Tree.

Although Gad's Hill Place is a nice piece too.

Do you have a collection you display every Christmas?

The houses look lovely on the top of the desk. I like the no snow look.
