The Most Decadent Banana Muffins Ever!

When our bananas get too old, we put them in the freezer to use in baking. Over the past few months the bananas had multiplied so I decided to use them up.

I browsed the internet to find a recipe that used the most bananas possible and found this one, Napoleon's Banana Muffins. It is an interesting recipe that uses cognac and rum as well as lots of sugar and butter. This is not a low cal or low fat recipe but it uses 6 bananas!

So I whipped up 2 batches on Sunday afternoon and as each batch makes 24, I ended up with 48 muffins! Thankfully my family liked them and even I like them and I'm not usually a banana muffin or bread-liking person. So some went into the freezer and I wrapped a few to take to some coworkers.

Hope they like them too!

They sound wonderful! Except the only thing I would add would be a few chocolate chips (lol)!

Definitely the rum and cognac would help the bananas make great muffins , nice treat for fellow workers.........nicely packaged too.

Hi Roseanne, those look YUMMY! Sometimes I freeze my old bananas and then run them through the juicer to make a dessert that tastes like ice cream!
