Happy New Year's Eve everyone!

A friend at work asked me to make a card to celebrate his mother's upcoming 85th birthday so I thought I would share it here as part of the celebrate theme.

Christmas Tags

Hello!

I took an unexpected blog break but I'm back this week as hostess over at Crazy Card Party.

And our theme at CCP this week is Christmas tags.

I hold a Christmas tag swap every year and the ladies created some wonderful tags.

Here's mine:

I used silver, gold, glitter, sequins and vellum, some of my favourite things to craft with.

Then recently I created a couple more tags:

Love the combo of black, kraft, glitter and sequins.

And finally on this last tag  I used kraft with silver embossing, such a lovely result.

Create a Scene

Hello there!

Time for another Crazy Card Party challenge, and this week, Sharon wants us to create a scene.

I made these cards a little while back and am so pleased to be able to finally share them.

I have a love for pyrex so had to get this Papertrey stamp set with images reminiscent of pyrex bowls.

And I have a fondness for vintage scales too!

And finally this card isn't really a scene but it uses the same stamp set so wanted to share it too.

I've had a set of gold embossed kraft card bases for awhile one of which I used to create this card:

Simple but effective.  I think I will be creating more.

I'm back this week with our Crazy Card Party challenge and it's a good one this week.

This week at Crazy Card Party it is my turn to host.

I selected a floral challenge this week, our cards are to feature flowers, any kind of flowers.

At the encouragement of my friends, I tried my hand at some watercolour images awhile back.

I used the coloured images to then create these cards.

Finally Finished!!

Hello!

We don't have a specific challenge over at Crazy Card Party this week so I thought I'd share a few cards I recently finished.

Some of my friends might describe these as ancient.

But better late than never right?

They are from a couple of  classes I took at Stamping Bella quite some time ago.

I am so happy they are done and putting them together has inspired me to colour up some more images.
