One of our favourite restaurants when we are in the US is PF Chang's.
Recently I found a recipe to make a lightened version of lettuce wraps PF Chang style.
So, Steve and I made them this week and they were sooooo good!
The recipe can be found here.

Little Red Wagon #126 - Up In The Clouds
It's Wednesday again and you know what that means, yes, it's time for another Little Red Wagon challenge.
This week Tammy is challenging us to use clouds on our project.
I was inspired by some cards I saw on Etsy to create this:
Wouldn't it be nice if after every rainstorm the clouds parted and there you see a bright rainbow?
If you can, please join us at Little Red Wagon with your cloud inspired creation, we love to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Very Early Spring
This past couple of weeks we have been experiencing a very early spring with several days of summer like temperatures.
As spring like weather is expected to continue I decided to add some pansies to my urn and window box.
Then I took a walk around the garden to see what had bloomed or was in bud.
First up, hyacinths.
Daffodil
Plumeria
Our climbing rose has greened up to the tips, that already reach the eaves, and is in leaf.
Chives and sage.
Rosemary survived our very mild winter!
Curly parsley.
Italian or flat leaf parsley.
Hydrangea in bud.
Lilacs in leaf!
Very odd weather but I'm not going to complain at all! Love the early start on spring gardening!

Little Red Wagon #125 - Clean and Simple
Hi all,
I'm back with Jan's Little Red Wagon challenge to create something clean and simple.
I created this card:
I used a stamp I borrowed while at The Art House then accented with some cardstock and ribbon.
At some point I envision adding a sentiment that says something like 'sew lovely of you'.
Please join us over at Little Red Wagon with your clean and simple project, we love to see what you create!

Little Red Wagon # 124 - Lucky You
Hope you're having a great week!
We're on March break and thoroughly enjoying ourselves!
This week Joanne is challenging us to use the word 'luck' in our creation.
She may have been thinking about St. Patrick's day in selecting this theme but I created a layout instead.
I use Basic Grey's Sweet Threads papers on this one along with Brittany's school photo.
Want to play along? Dig into those wagons and link up your creation over at Little Red Wagon.

Weather cold today but it is about to warm up
Wanting Bryan to come redo our bathrooms
Needing Bryan to come redo our bathrooms
Thinking Bryan really should come to redo our bathrooms
Enjoying the thought of being off work until the 19th!

Little Red Wagon #123 - Weaving
Time for this week's Little Red Wagon challenge.
And Deanna is challenging us to use weaving on our project.
I dug through my wagon for scraps of coordinating ribbon to create this card:
Such a great way to use up scraps that are too small to tie.
So dig into your wagon and link up your weaved creation at Little Red Wagon.
We love to see what you create!

Kitchen Update 2012
Just a week ago I posted photos of my kitchen eating area.
Here they are again:
A gold colour with a traditional oak table.
And here's the same area now:
Walls are storm cloud gray by Benjamin Moore.
It is a very green'y' gray.
And look at the table!
We had the pedestal and chairs painted in black then distressed with the table top restained in french roast, a darker colour that it was previously.
I love this mini-update! Much more current!
Thanks for stopping by!
