In The Black

Hello!

It's my turn over at Crazy Card Party and my theme is to create a card with  a  black base.

I decided to emboss on a black base.

Christmas in July!

Hello!

This week at Crazy Card Party Regan has selected a Christmas in July theme.

I decided to share some Christmas(2012 and 2013) layouts I finally completed earlier this year.

I dug into my stash to complete these layouts and used some papers I have had for awhile.

A close up of the embellishment cluster.

Playing charades was so fun!

And a couple more  close ups.

Hello Friend!

Hello there!

We don't have a specific challenge over at Crazy Card Party this week so I thought I'd share a card I finished this past weekend.

A few weeks ago, at a local crop, I tried my hand at watercolour and although my first attempt was ghastly my friends encouraged me to keep trying.

I'm so glad I did.

I created several cards from the images I watercoloured and thought I'd share one this week.

This card is dedicated to all my friends especially those who were so encouraging!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Bon Voyage!

Over at Crazy Card Party this week Patricia wants to see our Bon Voyage inspired projects.

I decided to share a few layouts I recently finished from our Tahitian cruise in 2013.

They are layouts of the cruise ship so perfect for this challenge!

I've recently tried my hand at pocket page scrapbooking and am still learning but think it's a great way to quickly scrapbook a lot of photos.

Another pocket page of the ship's interior.

And a traditional scrapbook page.
