Crazy Card Party - Red and White

It's my turn to set the challenge over at Crazy Card Party.

In honour of the upcoming Canada Day I choose a red and white theme although I must admit that the other partiers were not in favour of it.

I think a few of them threw an extra colour into the mix, oh wait, I think I did too!

This card is is dedicated to all my fellow partiers!

And if you want to play along please link up over at Crazy Card Party.

Thanks for stopping by!

Crazy Card Party - Gold Doily Thing!

Time for another Crazy Card Party challenge!

This week Regan wants us to use the 'gold doily thing'(get your minds out of the gutter!).

The 'gold doily thing' is actually what some fancy desserts were served on at a ladies tea that Patricia hosted.

Yes, we all took one, cleaned it off and voila!

There's nothing  like  a good recycle!

If you want to play along with your own gold doily please link up over at Crazy Card Party.

Little Red Wagon #242 - Wedding

Hello all!

It's time for another Little Red Wagon challenge.

With it being mid-June, Joanne has appropriately chosen  wedding theme.

I dug through my wagon to create a card using never before used ink, paper, stamp and die:

Yep, I've jumped on the gold bandwagon!

Do you have any weddings to attend this summer?

If you do why not create a handmade wedding card and link it up at Little Red Wagon!

Thanks for stopping by!

Little Red Wagon # 241 - Teacher Appreciation

This week I am right on time with my Little Red Wagon challenge.

As the school year is winding down, Jodi wants to see our teacher appreciation projects.

I decided to create a thank you card with a pocket for a gift card.

Hopefully this along with the other projects over at Little Red Wagon provides a bit of inspiration in creating your own teach appreciation project.

And if you do, please share it at Little Red Wagon, we love to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!

Little Red Wagon # 240 - Food For Thought

Happy Sunday!

I'm a bit late posting this week's Little Red Wagon challenge.

Tracy wants to see our creations featuring something yummy.

This was my opportunity to to finally colour up a stamp I've had for quite sometime.

And it did take some doing, I haven't used my copics in awhile so my first attempt was not very good and went in the garbage.

Then I was almost done the second version(adding the grounding in pencil) when I spilled gamasol all over it and almost eveything else on my desk.

Luckily it dried overnight and the image was still usable.

So finally, here it is:

It didn't turn out too badly!

If you can, please join us over at Little Red Wagon with your food inspired creation.

Thanks for stopping by!

Crazy Card Party - One Layer!

Happy Thursday!

Today I'm sharing my card for this week's Crazy Card Party challenge. Patricia wants to see our one layer cards!

And you wouldn't believe the discussion we had over what constitutes a one layer card! Right Avril?

And I think my card is one layer even though I used a little bit of patterned paper for embellishment:

And I was also able to use the PTI stamp set Pedal Pusher that Sharon loaned me, thanks Sharon!

So why not share your one layer card over Crazy Card Party!

Thanks for stopping by!
